Downloadable Games Is Still Great!

There is a rich gaming library of AAA games available exclusively for the PS4: Spider-Man, Bloodborne, The Last of Part 2, God of War and so on. And then there are the indie games and multi-platform games. It is an embarrassment of riches indeed. But it also has its drawbacks. For example, I have just returned from a holiday in Paris, and during my wanderings I’ve had to find time to play some PS4 games!

So, let’s take a brief trip through some of the options open to you to play games on your PS4. We begin with Sony’s first party offering, The Play Station Store. Here you can see games in the PS4’s format – some of them free, some you will have to pay for, and all of them at attractive prices.

We now proceed to one of the best places to find the best PS4 games yet – the PlayStation store. There you will find hundreds, if not thousands, of games. Some are backward compatible with your PS3, some have not been released in the west, some have limited or no support, but most are in full condition.

Among my favorite games (in some senses, not in others!) are doom Eternal and Dear Esther. The former is a hidden object adventure and the latter a horror game. In the former, you play as Eve, a journalist who investigates the murder of a millionaire and finds herself haunted by nightmares that emerge from the bottom of the sea. In the latter, you play as a girl called Nelly, who is researching a mysterious serial case that takes place near her home.

The best thing about these two games is that they are both available in the form of digital downloads on PlayStation Network. If you love classic games like Dead Island, then you will love these! If you love more modern games, on the other hand, you will find yourself drawn to the new release of Bloodborne: The New Testament. Like Dear Esther before it, this is part of the genre known as “game within a game”, where you have a story within a game. You will be able to download the digital version of both games today (for a limited time, so hurry up!).

Then there is the game that started it all, and perhaps still tops the charts, Final Fantasy X. This time around you play as the main character – Tides – and must save the world again from the wrath of their organization. The game has stunning visuals, and some very impressive audio effects. And it was the game that started the whole gaming trend on PlayStation. In fact, the success of Final Fantasy X really helped PlayStation grow into its next big thing – PlayStation 3.

But the most interesting game for you now that you can download from your PlayStation store is Battle Royale Game. This is the prequel to one of the most beloved and popular video games of all time – Final Fantasy. And as if you haven’t seen enough of this awesome game already, you can add the Battle Royale Game disc to your PlayStation Network collection today, for a modest cost.

It took nine years for the release of Titanfall, but that’s only because the game was in development hell for a long time. The game was first revealed around three years ago, and the beta was released a few months later. The game is currently on full speed and is well liked by critics. Therefore, it’s one of the bestselling games on the planet. If you have yet to play it, you should download the digital version now and check it out for yourself.
